A series of spatial interventions as part of a Summer residency in Rib, Rotterdam, including: a terrain for playing pétanque, dimensions of the same ratio as the space’s outermost walls; a comissioned Ikebana flower composition, put together by Tini van de Wetering, withering in a custom-built window display for the duration of two weeks; a presentation of Nature had its time, a publication by Lukas de Ryck and Nikolaas Verstraete that reflects on the plants in chapter 8 of Joris-Karl Huysmans’ A rebours, also to be viewed at from outside, kept in place by Murano glass paper weights; an essay written as personal reflection of five years of professional engagement with the art space, performed during the finissage.
