Moving in, out, around sound

From Available & the Rat's website:

Linus Bonduelle's Moving in, out, around sound is an installation of new sculptural and sound works. Moving in, out, around sound is the first solo exhibition of Bonduelle's work in Rotterdam, where the artist lives and works. During the month preceding the exhibition, Bonduelle lived in the exhibition space and apartment, which is usually the home of Available & The Rat Director Niloufar Nematollahi, and which was previously the home of Available & The Rat Director Lili Huston-Herterich.

Intrigued by the sounds created inside the home, as well as those on the peripheries of the domestic realm, Bonduelle has created sculptures that are temporary assemblages of sonic and visual elements reminding us of the warm, yet noisy, and sometimes hostile spaces we remember as “home.” Each sculpture consists of found domestic objects and a speaker with a unique soundtrack: familiar sounds of the home; and a voice, stating memories in which sound plays a profound role.
